Fabrication and Characterization of a Ring-Tunnel Junction Quantum Electron Interferometer

A quantum electron interferometer on the basis of ring connected with the tunnel junction in series have been fabricated and investigated. In the superconducting transition region, the ring order parameter oscillates with the changes in the magnetic field applied perpendicular. This oscillations control the resistance of the tunnel junction owing to the nonlocality effect.
