Time delays in superradiant emissions from five binary dye mixtures were measured to be linearly dependent on the spectral overlap between the donor fluorescence band and the acceptor absorption band. Temporally intervealed subnanosecond pulses were observed in the DF/R640 dye mixture owing to an efficient DF-to-R640 energy transfer, in which the DF laser emission could be briefly terminated while R640 was lasing. When R640 was photobleached, the DF laser emission was restored. In the tenary dye mixture, C460/DF/R640, mode locked laser emission was observed for the donor, C460, while less number of laser pulses were observed for DF and R640.
