This study analizes users' behavior of choosing anonymity on the Internet. When the Internet users post their opinions/comments on bulletin boards of the Internet, they choose the extent how much they expose their own and real identity such as name, age and sex. The result of the servey shows that users' behavior can be interpreted as a rational one since they seem to balance between merits and demerits they may get through posting to the bulletin board. This study also covers blogging and SNS(social netowork society) services which generally aims to have more personal relationship.
