• We report a case of juvenile angiofibroma (JA), a rare, benign but locally aggressive vascular tumor, occurring exclusively in adolescent men, that is usually treated using surgery despite the frequent involvement of heavy bleeding.16-year-old man seen for a 5-month long nasal obstruction was diagnosed with JA based on endoscopy and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings.The tumor was completely resected in endoscopic endonasal surgery combined with preoperative arterial-supply embolization using image-guided navigation. A purely endoscopic approach is thus reliable, and applicable even in Sessions stage IIA tumors.Endoscopic resection is effective in treating JA together with preoperative embolization and image-guided navigation. Open surgery should, however, be prepared for, just in case the need for it should arise.
