We have studied the cathodoluminescence (CL) behaviors of ABO3:Pr3+ phosphors. It is found that the ABO3:Pr3+ phosphors can emit a very wide range of spectrum of colors except bright green. Also, the color of the emitted spectrum of the ABO3:Pr3+ phosphors is dependent on the crystal phase of its host lattice. When the crystal lattice parameters of the host lattice are the same, i.e., <I>a</I>=<I>b</I>=<I>c</I>, the blue–green transition 3<I>P</I>0→3<I>H</I>4 appears to be preferred. While the crystal angles of the host lattice are the same, i.e., α=β=γ, the red transition 1<I>D</I>2→3<I>H</I>4 seems to be preferred. For other crystal phases except the aforementioned two extreme cases, the phosphors show whitish emissions.
