Detailed Fourier line shape analyses have been performed considering some fault affected and fault unaffected reflections in two hexagonal systems of alloys namely Ti base Zr alloys and Zr base Ti alloys having different compositions. It has been observed that while Ti base Zr alloys show marked increase in deformation fault parameters with zirconium concentration, zirconium on the other hand is not prone to faulting as solvent with the addition of titanium as solute.
