The frequency dependence of photoacoustic signals was measured to investigate the enthalpy relaxation of the glass transition of n-propanol. The dielectric relaxation was also measured for comparison. It was found that the enthalpy relaxation obeys the Vogel-Tammann-Fulcher law (VTF law), and the parameters of the VTF law in enthalpy relaxation are different from those of dielectric relaxation. The distribution of enthalpy relaxation time is broader than that of the dielectric one.
