The interpretation of Faraday loops of multidomain materials described theoretically in ref. 5 has been confirmed experimentally. A single-ended fixed analyzer method offers Faraday loops with the same shape with the magnetization curves if all the beams diffracted by the domains are detected. A double-ended method presents ideal loops, from which magnetic characteristics except for the absolute value of magnetization can be estimated as well as from the magnetization curves, only if the zeroth-order diffracted beam is captured with the detctor. The double-ended method preserved this superiority for material with a large Faraday rotation, i.e. independent of wavelength at which loops are traced.
