The soft heating method is an induction heating utilizing temperature sensitive magnetic materials implanted inside the tissue. In this method, the Curie temperature acts as a reference temperature. In this paper we propose a soft heating element made of temperature sensitive amorphous flakes in order to heat deep-seated tumors effectively. We furthermore discuss heating characteristics of a mixture of amorphous flakes and ferrite powders.
