A case of Warthin's tumor is reported. The female patient, 60 years old, had had a tumor close to the right angle of the mandible for sixteen months and it enlarged gradually. No facial palsy and no swelling of lymphnode on the neck was recognized. The tumor was removed surgically together with the lower portion of the parotid gland, to which the tumor had been tightly attached. The tumor was histologically demonstrated to be Warthin's tumor. The postoperative course of the patient was favourable. The problems of its etiology, pathology, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis are discussed with reference to the relevant literature
