WEGENER肉芽腫症症例

A case of WEGENER'S granulomatosis which was found in 28-year-old man was reported. The initial symptome of the patient was nasal trouble, but renal failure joined later, and several clinical investigations such as serological, immunological, electrophoretic examinations and renal function tests etc., were carried out during the course.<BR>Following two points were discussed from the results which was derived the above examinations.<BR>1) On immunological aspect, humoral site of immunity especially participates in various clinical features of this disease.<BR>2) Renal function tests of the patient showed renal insufficiency in spite of serological BUN and electrocytes were within normal limit.<BR>Considering from these results, the importance of the humoral immunity on WEGENER'S disease and of early treatment for uremia were emphasized.
