This experiment, therefore, as the basic experiment, was designed through the resorption time of an artificial skin wheal to demonstrate the influence of injection of sodium bicarbonate, by which the resorption of water in tissues is affected. The wheal resorption time was shortened in the group with the injection of sodium bicarbonate, in contrast to the intact one. Through influence to blood and dilation of peripheral capillary by the injection of sodium bicarbonate, exudation of water from vessels to extracapillary tissues is restricted and decreased at arterial end in the blood capillary system and transportation of the water from extracapillary tissues to vessels are increased, and then some changes are possible at the equilibrating point. Generally, the permeability of blood capillary wall would be accelerated by the injection of sodium bicarbonate.
