Fibromatosis of the Cervical Esophagus in a Child

A case of a 2-year-old boy who developed severe dysphagia from an aggressive f ibromatosis involving the cervical esophagus is reported. A fibrous tumor was completely excised with total laryngopharyngectomy, upper cervical esophagectomy and total thyroidectomy. These defect was reconstructed by free transverse colon using a microvascular technique. There is no evidence of recurrence in the patient 6 months after the operation.
