Main combustion products of poly (vinyl chloride) were polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons. Formation of chlorine-containing compounds was little. Formation of polychlorinated dibenzo-<I>p</I>-dioxins and dibenzofurans was confirmed. Temperature of maximum PCDDs and PCDFs formation was 600°C. Essential profiles of PCDDs and PCDFs formation at various temperatures were similar. Formation amounts of PCDFs were more than those of PCDDs.
