A nineteen year-old female was hospitalized for tumors of the nasopharynx and neck. Examinations of blood and bone marrow and a biopsy of the tumor suggested olfactory neuroblastoma with neuroblastemia. The patient received chemotherapies successfully. Tumors of the nasopharynx and neck soon disappeared, but she died nine months later. The diagnosis in autopsy was acute myeloid leukemia. The clinical and final diagnosis of the case herein reported were discussed from the standpoint of intense clinicopathological complexities of the tumor originating in the nasopharynx and its neighborhood.
