Adjustment of Triangulation by Automatic Digital Computer:I . General Theory

It is discussed the programming technique of automatic computers for the adjustment of triangulation in which the patterns have to be processed. Generally, automatic digital computers are, however, inefficient to deal with the problem in with the pattern processing is necessary. To settle this problem one method is attempted which needs minimum manual coding from the figure of the triangulation net. Furthermore, it is discussed the relation between the possible range of computation and the capacity of the memory of the computer, the protection from the miss in input data or in computation process, etc. Examples of routines for some geodetic computations are also given.
