In 1999, the absolute gravimeter FG-5 #210 was introduced into the Department of Geophysics, Kyoto University. Since then, we have carried out absolute gravity measurements at the Fundamen tal Gravity Station (Kyoto C) in Kyoto University. Kyoto C, which is registered on the International Gravity Standardization Net 1971, has been frequently used as the standard station for relative and absolute gravity measurements. The gravity values obtained by these measurements appar ently show the gravity decrease about 3 μcgal/year during 30 years. Although the cause of gravity decrease is not clear at the present time, we should take into consideration of the change of ground water level and the crustal deformation around the observation site.
