It was moderate or better in 64.1% of the adult patients and slight or better in 92.8% of the adult patients, showing no significant difference in the degree of final global improvement between the pediatric and the adult groups.
The frequency of the analgesic effect was analyzed according to the time of occurrence of the analgesic effect. The frequency of analgesic effect exerted within 15 minutes after administration was relatively high, 44.4% (55.3% for pediatric patients and 36.1% for adule patients) .
Adverse drug reactions were observed in 2 (1.6%) of the 128 patients ; each experienced mild nausea and fever (0.8%) .
