The authors had already made regression equations for the hemline of a statically draped shape. In the next step, we were tried to generate a draped shape from the hemline. As the algorithm, a linear interpolation between the support stand and the hemline was used. As variables for comparing the generated shape with the original shape, the Gaussian curvature and mean curvature were used.<BR>The values of the two curvatures were converted to colors and mapped onto the draped shapes. Comparing the generated draped shape with the original shape, although the values of mean curvature showed good agreement, the values of Gaussian curvature showed poor agreement.
