According to the parameters proposed in the previous paper, it is considered that the air permeability under high-speed air flow of 15m/sec. is different from that under low-speed air flow of 2.5m/sec. The speed of the air-flow of the Frazier permeometer specified in the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) virtualy corresponds to the high-speed air flow. In this paper, a new testing method has been developed to determine the air permeability of fabrics under low-speed air flow by measuring the displacement speed of a foam of the soap solution. A possibility has been discussed to apply the testing condition specified in the JIS to the determination of an air permeability of fabrics under low speed air flow.<BR>The results have shown that the parameters A and B are well applicable to the representation of air permeability of fabrics under both high-and low-speed air flow. The order of air permeability of fabrics under hign-speed air flow does not necessarily coincide with that under low-speed air flow. Thus it is unreasonable to represent the air permeability of fabrics only by the test results determined by the Frazier permeometer specified in the JIS.
