:Measurement of Crimp Angle due to Tensile Deformation by Three-Dimensional Goniophotometric Method

In the part 7, an investigation was made of the influence of tensile deformation on surface reflective properties of mono-and multi-filament plain fabrics by the two-dimensional goniophotometric method. This article aims to measure the crimp angle and investigate the deformation of crimp of monofilament plain fabrics by the three-dimensional goniophotometric method. Crimp angles are given by the follwing relations from peak angle (γ) of a three-dimensional goniophotometric curve :<BR>Crimp angle of yarns parallel to the stretching direction ; cos γ=sin α/sin β.<BR>Crimp angle of yarns orthogonal to the stretching direction ;<BR>cosφ= (cos α+cos β⋅cos γ) / √2 {1+cos (α+β) ⋅cos γ} <BR>The change of crimp angle due to the tensile deformation can be measured by these equation.
