1. In this paper several basic properties of the cell-free system consisting of microsomes and pH 5.2 fraction of bovine parotid gland were described <BR>2. Time course of the incorporation of glycine-2-C14 into microsomal protein, irreversibility of glycine-2-C14, ATP and GTP concentration, on the incorporation, the inhibition of labeling reaction by the addition of RNase and puromycin and the general requirements for the incorporation were reported.
