The paper described the examination and subsequent treatment of a huge epulis fibrosa that was developed under constant stimulus furnished by the edge of denture plate, which had made the patient experience much difficulty in the installation of the plate, mastication and enunciation.<BR>The treatment was effected by first excising surgically the epulis and then manufacturing a new denture plate with exact theoretical considerations incorporated in it.
