One of the authors, ISOKAWA[1], earlier historadiographically reported the interglobular dentin or space to be one corresponding to an unmineralized or hypomineralized zone of dentin seen in man and several mammalia. The presnet report examines the interglobular space in human dentin by means of the scanning micrography.
