A case of spontaneous regression of malignant lymphoma (ML) is presented.<BR>An 80-year-old woman visited our hospital with a swelling at the right upper gingiva. She had a 30×45mm mass, part of which was ulcered on the gingiva. CT scan and panoramic radiographs showed bone resorption of the right maxilla. Swelling of bilateral lymph nodes without tenderness was observed. Pathological examination of a biopsy revealed malignant lymphoma (diffuse large B-cell lymphoma), (WHO classification), Stage II E. However, spontaneous regression of the ML was occurring after 3 months without any specific treatment. The patient has shown no evidence of recurrence as of 1 year 6 months since the first visit.
