A method of signal processing for photon correlation LDV is described. In the correlation method velocity and its fluctuation are determined from Fourier spectrum of autocorrelation function. This paper is concerned with a data processing method of improving the resolving power of velocity which is limited by the doppler ambiguity. The method is to make a simple compensation for the autocorrelation function and the resolution is improved by a factor of about 2. Experimental results which are obtained from rotating rubber disk by using a signal processing system composed of digital correlator and microcomputer are also shown. And the improvement in resolving power of velocity has been confirmed experimentally.
