An actively mode-locked Nd: GGG oscillator has been developed. Amplitude stability, pulse width, and single pulse energy are measured with respect to their dependence on modulation depth of the active modulator and Q-switch loss. It exhibits excellent amplitude stability of less than ±3% and high single pulse energy of 90μJ.
