• 1. The amino acid sequence in N-terminal lysylpeptides of α-casein has been investigated. 2. The di-DNP-lysylpeptides were separated by silicic acid-celite adsorption chromatography and by paper electrophoresis. 3. It was concluded that the N-terminal sequence is Lys-Leu-Val-Ala-Glu-Asp-.
