Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Nakatsugawa Works is called "Nakatsugawa of Wind" due to their consistent manufacturing processes of wind-related products such as electric fans, ventilation fans and blowers. Ventilation products are one of the core business subjects. Besides, in recent new businesses for photovoltaic power generation systems have been positively tackled with aiming at "Environmentally-contributing equipment production facility". In this article, two major products commercially available are reported as follows:(1) LOSSNAY (Total heat exchange type ventilator) [Office use mainly]LOSSNAY is the energy saving ventilator that operates heat exchange (heat collection) between supplied and exhaust air, leading to about 20-30% reduction of air- conditioning costs. Special converted paper equipped to the ventilator systems enables the efficient total heat exchange at the interface of paper and air through both thermal and hydroscopic transfer.(2) Air-conducting fan [Factory use mainly]In general, high ceiling of factories and heterogeneous temperature distribution in the large inner space cause not only energy loss but also uncomfortable situations by extra air-conditionings. In contrast, air-conducting fan that can generate airflows allows the improvement of indoor environments and energy savings by partitioning (zoning) air circulation, for example resulting in about 20% reduction of air conditioners equipped in the factory.
