Four years have passed since the curriculum reorganization. In order to remedy deficiencies of college-level competency, an education before admission using educational materials of fundamental subjects of science and mathematics for the engineering education was carried out. In an introductory education in the first semester of the first year after the placement test, the effect of this education was analyzed by using standardized test scores. The linear approximation of the relationship between the standardized test scores of the periodic test and the placement test found the correlation coefficient to be a positive correlation of r=0.6228. Both two standardized test scores of less than 40 were 4 students in which everyone was an 18-year-old freshman. Questionnaires about the 5 attempts of introductory education had been shown in as positive data to improve the understanding.
