The carbon thickness of LiFePO4/C with core/shell structure for Li ion secondary battery electrode was estimated by Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) method. The carbon thickness increased linearly with the carbon coating time, and it was found that the discharging capacity during the charging/discharging is closely related to the carbon thickness.
