This report presents a simple photometric method of serum albumin using buffered citrated solution of B C G.(pH4.0). Color development is stable and has a linearity with respect to albumin concentration over the range of 0 to 6.0g/dl. Precision in dupplicated and day-to-day measurments was good. Further studies with hyperbilirubinemic, lipemic and hemolytic sera showed no interference with this method. This procedure is simple and available for routine laboratory examination and also applicable to either manual or automatic analysis.
