概要

• To estimate the distribution of household-heads from the population distribution, the headship rate method is often used. We propose its extension such that the number of household-heads for one cohort is estimated using not only the number of population of the cohort but also other cohorts. From its estimated ratio matrix, we can derive demographic information such as the marginal effect of increasing other population on the number of household-heads.
