The driving parameters of pulsatile bypass pump. were studied in the hydranechanical model. The follCing results were obtained; The driving pressure for optimal pulsatile flow (1 Oiax/Qmin >10) is influenced by the perfusLonn pressure, pulse rate, and especially by cannula pressure gradient. When pulse rate and S/D are constant, We can predict driving pressure (y) only fran cannula pressure gradient (x) (y=0.044x+2.4, x: mmHg, y: psi, S/b 1:1.5, 75bpm)
