Surgical approach for the treatment of ventricular tachycardia has been replaced by catheter ablation including the endocardial and epicardial ablation. However, some reentry circuit, deep into the myocardium, epicardial location close to the coronary artery or underneath the thick fat pad still remains challenging. In this session, some of the difficult cases who required catheter and surgical ablation will be presented. Problems associated with the current technologies and future development of the technologies will be discussed in the session.
