To comprehensively grasp the present state of catheter ablation of arrhythmias in Japan, the Japanese Heart Rhythm Society performed a nationwide survey. Data of procedures of the treatment, results, and complications of 8469 patients who had undergone ablation of any form of arrhythmia during January 2008 and July 2010 were collected.
