• Researchers in medicine or, more generally, in science might well be grouped into two types. One type consists of those whose principal efforts are directed toward making contribution to, or changes in, the views and theories that are widely accepted, leaving, however, their main bulk unaffected. The other type is represented by such researchers as are extraordinarily sensitive to hidden contradictions in the basic structure of "established" views and theories, and can not take their ease until they will have made a revolutional breakthrough which would eliminate the noticed contradictions.As a matter of fact, the first-type researchers are far larger in number, the statistical processing of the information originating from them could be carried out with greater ease and certainty, and accordingly in their turn their needs for information could perhaps more easily be met by information service.
