• For publicity, the library bulletin is the most continuous, comprehensive and organizational medium. Many medical librarians have gradually become interested in it. Statistical analysis of the characteristics of a radical library bulletin, shows that it has a dull name, a reasonable cost, frequent publication, small circulation, many pages and various articles. It is suggested that 1) title and front page illustration should be more casual, 2) wider distribution to other libraries should be considered, 3) evaluation of items, particularly a list of currently received books or instructive articles, should be flexible according to the peculiar circumstances and policies of each library.
