Verification of Bibliographies without Using Usual Indexes.

Today, there are many reference materials available, but access to these may be limited by budgets. Against the current increasing needs, we have decreased secondary sources. Although CD-ROM data bases are easy and common methods used to verify bibliographies, they are limited when rare or old literature is required. If we are unable to verify queries using secondary sources, then it is hard to obtain the original literature. In our library, all books are subjected to checks, as to whether they are books or journals, references of related subjects and authors. This is sometimes time consuming work, but it is a necessary requirement for interlibrary loans, and as a librarian it is important to know the library holdings well.
