In strongly correlated electron (SCE) systems many competing phases appear in a narrow concentration range due to the competing interactions with similar energy scale. Neutron scattering experiments in J-PARC should distinguish whether the observed two phases coexist homogeneously in space or phase-separated heterogeneously. Structural determination for samples with extremely small volume fraction such as room temperature superconductor is also important for the second generation of neutron scattering. Furthermore, nonequilibrium phenomena will be one of the challenging fields in SCE system.
