The fluorescent emission spectra and fluorescent lifetimes have been measured for several available uranyl salts and natural mineral zippeite. The absolute quantum efficiency data of UO<SUB>2</SUB>SO<SUB>4</SUB>·0.5H<SUB>2</SUB>O, H<SUB>2</SUB>(UO<SUB>2</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>·8H<SUB>2</SUB>O, and UO<SUB>2</SUB>(CH<SUB>3</SUB>COO)<SUB>2</SUB>·2H<SUB>2</SUB>O have been obtained by the simultaneous measurement of the photoacoustic and excitation spectra.
