The structure of furcatin, which was proposed to be <I>p</I>-vinylphenyl 6-<I>O</I>-apiosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucoside, was revised to <I>p</I>-allylphenyl 6-<I>O</I>-[3-<I>C</I>-(hydroxymethyl)-β-D-erythrofuranosyl]-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside by spectral and chemical results.
