• Lead tetraacetate oxidation of <I>N</I>,<I>N</I>′-diarylthioureas in refluxing dichloromethane and pyridine gave the corresponding <I>N</I>,<I>N</I>′-diarylureas. Sulfur was isolated during each oxidation reaction.
