• The iodine complexes of benzene, toluene, <I>o</I>-, <I>m</I>-, <I>p</I>-xylene and mesitylenes in cyclohexane are studied by using constant activity method. The association constants and the other thermodynamic parameters of the complexes are determined and the results are compared with those obtained by using conventional spectral methods. The blue shifted iodine band maxima are determined directly.
