Pentacoordinated hydrazone and azine derivatives of bis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium(<B>IV</B>) of the type [(OC<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>4</SUB>CR : NNHR′)TiCl(Cp)<SUB>2</SUB>] and [(OC<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>4</SUB>CR″ : NN : CR″C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>4</SUB>O)Ti(Cp)<SUB>2</SUB>], where R=H or CH<SUB>3</SUB>, R′=H, C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>5</SUB> or C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>3</SUB>(NO<SUB>2</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB> and R″=H or CH<SUB>3</SUB>, have been prepared. The products were characterized by chemical analyses, electrical conductance, IR, <SUP>1</SUP>H NMR, and electronic spectral studies.
