• Lithium enolates from 2-methylcyclohexanone and <I>p</I>-methylacetophenone react with allylic nitro compounds in the presence of triethylborane (2 equiv) and Pd(PPh<SUB>3</SUB>)<SUB>4</SUB> (5 mol%) to give monoallylated compounds regioselectively.
