• The relative viscosities of solutions of tetraalkylammonium bromides, R<SUB>4</SUB>NBr, (R=C<SUB>2</SUB>H<SUB>5</SUB> to C<SUB>7</SUB>H<SUB>15</SUB>) have been measured in 2-methoxyethanol (ME) at 25 °C. The data have been analyzed in the form of associated electrolytes and the <I>B</I>-coefficients have been evaluated. The ionic <I>B</I>-values have been determined using the "reference electrolytes" viz. Bu<SUB>4</SUB>NBBu<SUB>4</SUB> and Bu<SUB>4</SUB>NBPh<SUB>4</SUB>. The results have been discussed on the basis of Einstein's equation and in terms of a transition state treatment.
