Fluorescence polarization spectra for the 10a<SUB>0</SUB><SUP>1</SUP> perpendicular absorption band belonging to the S<SUB>0</SUB>→S<SUB>1</SUB> transition of pyrazine vapor have been obtained at room temperature. The spectra are well reproduced theoretically by considering the resonance fluorescence from fully resolved rotational levels in S<SUB>1</SUB> and by employing a symmetric top approximation.
