• Several new pyrazolo[1,5-<I>a</I>]pyrimidines were synthesized via the reaction of 4,5-disubstituted 3-aminopyrazoles <B>1a–d</B> with 3-dimethylaminopropiophenone, cinnamaldehyde, benzylideneacetophenone and tetracyanoethylene.
