• New crystalline complexes composed of a fatty acid (FA) and nicotinamide (NAA) at a molar ratio of 6 : 5, (FA)<SUB>6</SUB>(NAA)<SUB>5</SUB>, have been isolated. The melting points of (FA)<SUB>6</SUB>(NAA)<SUB>5</SUB> were higher than those of the corresponding equimolar complexes, (FA)<SUB>6</SUB>(NAA)<SUB>6</SUB>.
